Here we have a beautiful Red Amberina candy dish made by Viking Glass during the 1950's. This hand made candy dish measures 5.5" wide by 7" long and 2.25" high. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or stains. This hand blown piece has a fire-polished pontil that has been ground flat to give the bowl a stable base. The rim edge is gently pinched to create a slight scalloped effect and the hand tooled V at the top and the point at the bottom give this bowl a modified modern heart shape. A great find for a mid-century modern glass collection. Very nice!
